Frequently asked questions about our electric bikes Flebi Eolo

1. What is the actual range I can expect from the battery?

The autonomy of the Flebi Eolo battery is calculated for an average weight of 75-80kg, riding at the medium level of assistance on a mixed route. Based on this reference, the range of distance that can be covered on a single charge will be extended if the rider’s weight is lighter or the assistance level selected is low.

2. What do I need to do to maintain the battery properly?

Mainly make the charging cycles as complete as possible, never leave it discharged for several days, and charge it every 30 to 40 days even if you don’t use it. This will extend the life of a lithium battery like the one in your Flebi. Using the accelerator acts aggressively on the battery, reducing its lifespan.

3. Is it normal for the bars of the battery indicator to vary very quickly?

Yes, this is normal. The programming of the display sets the ignition of each bar according to different battery voltage levels. Depending on the consumption peaks that the battery undergoes when climbing or starting from a standstill, its voltage can drop several levels in a short time, causing one or several bars to switch off. The important thing is that the actual range of the bike is within the advertised range, the indicator being an estimate of this.

4. How should I recharge the battery for the first time?

The bike is usually delivered with a certain amount of charge, and you can use it from that moment on. It is advisable to leave it charging during the first night, even if the charger LED turns green after 2 or 3 hours. During this first charge, the battery performs an internal balancing or calibration of its cell groups.

5. Does the bike's front light switch itself on?

Yes, you should. The light contains an integrated brightness sensor that makes it shine only when it is necessary, i.e. in darkness or semi-darkness. The display does not need to be active for this, only the main switch.

6. What are the recommendations for keeping my Flebi in the best possible condition?

  • Do not ride on unpaved roads.
  • Do not jump
  • Do not raise the handlebars above the mark.
  • Wash it with a damp cloth
  • Do not open the electrical components
  • Do not use another charger
